I have been working on a portfolio piece with the goal of building every asset from scratch, including the textures. This is to show how my workflow can grant control of a scene to a designer, from hero assets right down to the grouting and trims.
In this scene i want to represent how bespoke assets can be used to add design details to something real world and familiar. A scene that while matching the real world history of the architecture represented in it, can then have an additional layer of fantastical elements in its detailing.
In this case, a secret back alley entrance into a bank, that's adorned with little pieces of story in the design; telling us that something extraordinary is hiding in plain site.

The hero asset of the scene is a standard Victorian gas lamp, but in this one case its clad with golden trims...
