I supervised the previs/postvis work on the Oil skating scene. We handled a tricky layout where the rink was much smaller than the environment and the stunts had to be done at a common 0 point and laid out with the previs to make it look like they are happening in sequence over various obstacles and opponents. We tracked the real cameras and laid them out over the VFX camera plan and used unreal engine to provide the temp cg very early in the process. We then designed the environment lighting and textured it with Jody VFX supe and comped the sequence for postvis. This was then carried forward by a different team into final VFX.
