PRESS MENTIONS

Introduction:

Being recognized for my contributions to various projects has been both humbling and rewarding. Here are some notable mentions:

Luther: The Fallen Sun
- "NVIZ Employs Unreal on Idris Elba's Luther: The Fallen Sun" - PostPerspective.com
- "The Red Bunker appears in two key moments in the film, so the NViz graphics team — led by creative director Chris Lunney, real-time supervisor Eolan Power, and graphics supervisor Ian Sargent — worked with Payne and Wright to splice together R&D explorations of the Red Bunker environments with fragments of the film’s “real-world” horror — footage of Robey’s victims and his heinous crimes. These moments take the form of two “trailers,” advertising Robey’s big moment — the grand finale — broadcast live from the real-world Red Bunker location."* - PostPerspective.com
- *"He’s helped by a more ambitious vision for the character. Instead of chasing villains through London’s shadowy corners and fobbing off his old boss (Dermot Crowley’s Schenk, now semi-retired and replaced by Cynthia Erivo’s less sympathetic detective, Odette Raine), Luther: The Fallen Sun elevates the gruff detective to a fugitive-hero in the spirit of an Ethan Hunt or Rick Deckard. Elba has talked about this movie as his answer to James Bond and you can feel it in a story arc that takes in Tube station chases, Arctic lairs, moles, and even has him offered a martini (‘Glass of water. But if it makes you happy, you can make it fizzy,’ comes the very Luther-ish response)."* - Time Out Magazine

Fortnite World Cup
- "This speed and flexibility meant that our AR/Ncam-equipped cameras could still be called away at any time for their usual purposes while being used to shoot AR when available, without disruption to the rest of the broadcast. We were also able to equip the main cameras (35-foot cranes) with Ncam systems,” says I, acting as AR director during the events. “Essentially the AR assets would be right where they left them should they need to shoot elsewhere — if they weren’t, we could instantly snap them back using a set of built tools in our UI. This simply wouldn’t be possible without Ncam’s approach to tracking, and without our system’s speed and flexibility."* - Post Magazine.com
- "The NViz graphics team, led by myself, also provided real-time graphics for the Fortnite World Cup, enhancing the immersive experience of the live event." - Fortnite World Cup live
